I am a former Staffordshire University student who recently graduated with a degree in Esports. I have a passion for setting up and running the production/AV side of events, and am looking to find work as a member of a professional production team. Capable of setting up and operating the necessary equipment for a live broadcast, communicating well with fellow team members to ensure the production is run smoothly, and operating in high pressure environments to deliver a high-quality experience.

EXPERIENCE HISTORY
Production LEAD | BRINK series April 2023 – August 2024
BRINK and its sequel, Back 2 the BRINK, were invitational esports events for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. 16 of the best players in the UK were invited to compete and the event was streamed live to over a thousand viewers. For both instalments of the BRINK series, I was the Stream runner.

Recruited and managed a production team to ensure that all roles were filled with skilled individuals.

PRODUCTION LEAD | Campus Clash 2024 May 2024
“Campus Clash” is the final event of the academic year for the Staffordshire university Esports course. It is a competition between each year group on the course, as well as staff and alumni, and involves esports competitions in a variety of titles. For the 2024 instalment of “Campus Clash”, I was one of two production leads.

Assisted in the creation of Schedules, kit lists, and other documents relevant to the production.

Assisted with the interview process to recruit members of the production team.

Managed a team of more than 20 members, ensuring the broadcast ran smoothly.

Instructed the team when problems arose to minimise the negative impact on the broadcast.
VISION MIXER OPERATOR | Alpine community cup 2024 Feb 2024 – April 2024
The Alpine Community Cup was an eight-week sim racing event hosted by Alpine F1’s esports department and ran by Staffordshire university students. During all eight weeks of the event, I was the vision mixer operator.

Offered the role as the quality of the broadcast was below an acceptable level and I was asked if I could help improve it, this was successfully achieved as the event ran for the planned 8 weeks.

I am a Christian and frequently attend church, I also attended my universities Christian union for three years and was its president for one year.
